Join the Teen Summit 2.0: The Remix movement. Whether you want to be a Summiteer, volunteer, or share your expertise as a guest speaker, there is a place for you in our civic media community.
This is the main opportunity for teens to join Teen Summit 2.0: The Remix. Selected Summiteers participate in debate, musicology, and podcast production while building their Academic Civic NILS portfolio. Open to Central Illinois youth ages 15-19 who are ready to commit to the Spring 2026 season.
Summiteers are compensated for their work, receive professional media training, earn college credit through UIUC, and build a public portfolio for college applications and career development. Transportation and meals are provided on all production days.

Support our production and help make Teen Summit 2.0: The Remix possible. Join our volunteer team and help with production logistics, event coordination, mentorship, and more. All skill levels are welcome. Volunteers contribute to one of Central Illinois's most impactful youth civic media programs.
